Blogging on iPad with Blogsy

Let’s face it, you are dismayed many times when an idea comes up and you are off your desktop or laptop and all you got is your mobile phone or tablet.

I’ve felt the same way too with my iPad. But I’m glad  I discovered a better way to do it. You might ask, what is it like to blog on an iPad?

It’s not really the iPad that makes blogging cool or extraordinary. It’s Blogsy! This is my new found tool of choice when it comes to blogging  apps. And if you’re still not intrigued, let me give you a ride and hopefully convince you that this nifty little app is absolutely worth the attention.

Blogsy is an iPad app that you can get for $4.99. It’s not an expensive piece of software but the price is well worth the experience, convenience and well roundedness of this tool. I’ve first used this tool in —– and has since been a personal favorite

Supported Blog Platforms

Blogsy enables you to manage multi platform and multiple blogs in just one place. So no matter if you have a Blogger account, wordpress self hosted or not or Tumbler and many other supported platforms, Blogsy brings it all to you like magic.

Integrations

Blogsy is widely integrated with the most useful sites  where you can pick out content additions like images and videos. This greatly reduces your time to scour for images or videos as they are now readily available with just a few taps. The drag and drop capability is just outstanding. You can add your accounts from the following sites:

  • Facebook
  • Youtube
  • Picasa
  • Vimeo
  • Instagram
  • Flickr

Blogsy Features I Love

Featured Image – This is probably one of the best thing I like about Blogsy. Compared to the usual thing that I do where I have to resize every image on Breeze theme, Blogsy allows me to add a featured image and it resizes them automatically.

Facebook Image Grab – Photos from friend’s tagging you can be accessed and dragged to your post, as simple as that. You don’t need to download it to your desktop and all those steps.

iPad Photo Library –  Aside from access to your Facebook photos, the app also can grab from the photo library on your iPad. If you are using an iPad 2, the image may not be as good as you want it to be. I suggest you download Cortex Cam.

Overall, Blogsy is something I can highly recommend for every blogger who has an iPad. Blogsy’s performance has so far been the best among blog apps I’ve tried.

If there’s another app you can suggest, I’d be happy to test it out.
